Formula #6 Neocate.
Why do they keep giving him this hypoallergenic bullshit?????
Everyone keeps suggesting alimentum @starienite and I've mentioned it to his doc but the last 3 formulas have been hypoallergenic and i don't understand why when he doesn't have any type of milk allergy.
Aww poor thing. I put my sons right in his bottles. Hope he finds something that works for him.
@starienite yeah he has mylicon drops every 2 hours, always has since they started the formula
I wonder why the skipped alimentum. My son does well with it. This was the 3rd formula for us. The formula that caused gas did you try mylicon drops in his bottles? That is what I do with my son now. Poor thing. I hope something works out for him.
Just a lot.
1. Similac for immune support that caused him to have gas so bad he was screaming and losing his voice.
2. Similac fussiness and gas he wasn't pooping unless he has a suppository.
3. Similac total comfort was spitting it all out and gaining no weight.
4. Nutramigen was spitting out everything and had severe diarrhea to where his butt was bleeding.
5. Elecare...throws it all up and takes over an hour for him to eat 4 ounces. I dont think he liked the taste.
6. Now neocate.
I don't know either. My son was switched because of a suspicion of milk allergy. His poo was acidic and caused a diaper rash that would not go away. Once we switched he was fine. His poo is more watery than most but the doctor said that was normal because of the formula being already broken down. Maybe you need to go back to what his first symptoms were and go from there.
