I had both my minis help me pick everything for the bed including the bed I got them a clock radio night lights and made sure I made it a big fun event with the reading prayers to go to the BIG bed

We don't really have a bedtime routine. He also sleeps in our room and will until we have our own place. We play movies at night. Idk if that will still work what you do. @a_bevy_of_evie
