How does baking with breast milk effect the breast milk? Does it still leave in a lot of the nutrition thats in it? I always wondered bc I wanted to make things for my son with breast milk, but I have no clue how it all works lol

@allyk.xmommy you know what....that's a great question that may be better answered by a lactation consultant. That is out of my scope of practice so i dont want to give you false info. I'm going to look into it though because that's a good question. My personal thought though is that if you can boil breastmilk to remove lipase, that high temps of baking wouldn't ruin it.

@allyk.xmommy so far dr.google doesn't have any negatives on baking or cooking with breastmilk. I've seen things from casseroles to pancakes.....go for it.
