Okay so I want to do a babyshower. But when the baby comes. Moms what's your thoughts?

My daughter is due June 16, & since we just had a baby shower last year, we've decided to do a welcoming baby BBQ sometime in July. Cheaper than renting a hall out, nice weather & if you get presents that's a plus!

I had one after baby and everyone wanted to hold her. It made me nervous. Plus I was breastfeeding so it was hard to get through that. Plus all the germs...it wasn't as fun for me because I was too worried about my baby getting passed around.

Oh yea, that's a good idea. How soon did you do it after the birth of the baby?

@jademarie_x0, that's a good idea also. Because I don't want to be greedy since I just had a baby shower 2 years ago.
