does beastfeeding make your boobs itch?? mine always itch like crazy when he's latched on!!
Where is it itching?! Near the nipple or the breast? I had a bad itch only when he was feeding it could be the beginning of thrush
@angelao777 he's been getting the hang of it more I think.. sometimes he just gets my boob all slobery so its impossible for him to latch lok
try cluster feeding if you can, it helped me so much because he wouldn't latch right doing it at first going by a schedule. Once he got it I went back to a schedule
@angelao777 if I even twitch wrong he unlatches.. but we just restarted doing this so we dont have a lot of practice
Aw, I'd try the side method then or him facing toward you, it makes it easier. I tried all different positions and for a while I couldn't get him to latch the same way twice in a row. It helps that he has a tight latch because I've had to change positions mid feed before
@angelao777 I've got bad knees so they dont bend right :/ I try to use pillows, but he squirms away lol
I position his head in the fold where my knee is and jack my leg up higher with the arm of my couch to act like a hand...pillows work too. I lay on my side the most it's the easiest and most comfortable
any other ways I need both hands because I have to push my top of my boob down so he can breathe out his nose
I usually do the cross leg, but he just doesn't seem to stay latched on unless I hold his head there
@angelao777 I'm so jealous now lol. I require two hands to nurse. gotta hols him with on and my boobs are so big I gotta hold the boob up with my other.. really sucks! so I risk him unlatching to scratch!
me too! I get itchy as hell when I nurse, I have to leave a hand free to scratch. Which sucks because sometimes my baby wants to hold my free hand and I gotta let go to scratch. It's annoying, I'm glad it's not just me lol
@angelao777 oh good lol I thought it was weird. (well not good cuz it drives me crazy lol)
oh ok thanks @cubanese
