Ugh I am beyond frustrated. Baby girl is refusing to latch onto my nipple no matter what I do. The breast pump I have is not very good so it takes me an hour to pump out 2 ounces - not even. I tried to give her an ounce of formula and she projectile vomited it. Idk what to do. I'm nervous I won't even pump enough for her to have for the rest of tonight.

Can you call the hospital you delivered at and ask if they have a lactation consultant you can meet with today?

try a nipple shield, that's what I have to use because my son won't latch at all

She won't need much to eat at each feeding. My daughter didn't latch well at first but I had sev lactation consultants in the hospital coaching me. My baby's fave hold is the football hold. She latches better.

@jsco, I have a shield and she still won't latch with it :( @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom, I called but the lactation nurses were all with patients so they told me to call back but I'm just pumping now so she can feed before bed. @morganmommy79, I had several consultants help me too, the issue is just that she doesn't want the boob lol. She prefers the bottle which is fine with me, I just wish I could pump more to save so I didn't have to spend majority of the day pumping
