Any foster parents on here? I need some advice! We are close to being approved and I'd like some support!

Not a foster parent but in the foster system. I'm 16 and just found out I'm pregnant. I'm so scared my foster family is gonna kick me out

I was the the foster system for most my life. ward of the state since I was 5. I think it's great your fostering. are you doing long term or short term?

We are doing ages 0-12, might consider adoption but we can have biological children so adoption isn't our goal. But we will do long and short term! @dawnrose,

from 5 to 7 I was in a couple different foster homes and 2orphanages. when I was 7 I moved in with this family and I still call them my parents and I'm 30 to now. they had children of their own and I was never adopted but I felt they are my parents and my foster siblings are my siblings. we are all very close still

That's great! Hopefully the system is better now and we can give a few kids a forever home and they won't be moved around!
