Ok this is gonna be a long post but i need some advice!!! My daughter was really calm and didn't really cry from birth through about 2 1/2 months . She just turned 3 months old and for the past two weeks it's like she's a different baby! She started sleeping through the night about a month ago but during the day she just cries on and off and really only stops when i nurse her. I don't think it's my milk supply because she's gaining weight and seems full right after . I don't think it's colic because the crying isn't consistent. She stops and then cries again. She's starting to drool more and sucks on her fingers a lot. Could it be teething? She doesn't seem to have problems passing gas and always burps after feedings. She doesn't poop everyday like she used to but I was told it's normal for an EBF baby to go up to a week without pooping. She has yet to take a bottle and doesn't like pacifiers ( I've tried 3 different ones so far). Idk what could be bothering her to make her change like that overnight and cry all day. I'm worried this is just how she's gonna be for a while. Is anyone else going through this or have any of your kids gone through this in the past? What did you do to stop the crying? I don't think my son was ever like this.
This sounds EXACTLY like my daughter. Though it seems to come in spurts, completely content for like 3-4 days, then mad as hell for 3-4, and again. Lol she'll be 6 months end of Feb. but it's been going on for probably close to 2 months now. Same with the feeding, I worry about her getting enough milk from me. But she stops when she's full, burps when she's done (decided to start biting when she's done also 😖) and is getting weight appropriately. Same with the pooping, some days we poop 3 times, some days we don't poop at all. & I hate that for her! She always seems more fussy the days she's hasn't pooped yet. I've also wondered about her teeth, she tries to eat EVERYTHING. Her fist is always shoved in her mouth. Lol I've basically narrowed it down to, "I guess she's just being a baby... And doing what babies do." 😂 did your doctor ever talk to you about the "period of purple?"
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

@addelinerae22, her doctor hasn't gone over the purple period yet but I've heard about it before. It's nice to know that I'm not alone. I know it's probably a phase that'll pass with time.
