My doctor diagnosed me with antepartum condition or complications which is basically depression before childbirth 😩 I can't help but be depressed but I need to get it together.Im sad over weight gain, not feeling attractive anymore, lonely af regardless of everyone I talk to or go out with.I cant sleep and worry about too much that I shouldn't.
There's no need to feel shame! I know many people who feel like this, pregnant or not. You are an amazing woman who's carrying your love in your belly.
Talk to your doctor and maybe look for a counselor to have someone to talk to and destress. Sometimes our friends, or people we talk to, give a quite biased advice. It is good to have someone someone unbiased look at our situation to help us!
Maybe I can recommend something. Whenever I start getting very down, either my anxiety is kicking in or depressions setting in again, there's a few tips you can do.
If depression, try to focus on the positive. Try to think of 5 good things and focus on that to help calm you down, maybe until you can think clearer. For depression, this is the tip I use. The five senses. Think of 5 things you can see, 4 things you can hear , 3 things you can touch, 2 things you can smell , and one thing you taste. It helps calm your mind with some structure!
Good luck to you future mama! Never be ashamed of what you feel. You're amazing and can do so much. ::
