My son just all of the sudden stopped taking it when he was 3 or 4 months old

My daughter just up an stopped taking hers. But she only used it when it was bedtime.

I induced it to my daughter pretty late so idk if that has anything to do with it but she won't give it up @britt16,

I let my daughter have hers until she was 2. This way I was able to explain to her why she couldn't have it, rather than just snatching it away when she was a baby and just letting her cry. We had a friend in the family who had a baby so she gave the baby her binky because she wasn't a baby anymore. Worked well.

@kirstin678, I was trying to to wait that long but it's looking that way. I mean she is great during the day without it but when it's time for bed she won't sleep without it so it's a little confusing as to why only at night she needs it

Mine actually did the same thing. She started to go down for naps without it but then needed it at night. Looks like you're on your way to getting rid of it at least!
