I am learning it doesn't really matter cuz people disregard what you prefer and get what they want instead. We did all that work for nothing. We have received like 4 things from our registry. So be prepared lol.
Anything you want. I HATE when people don't respect you have a registry and decide to just give you want they like instead. Here are things I wish I put on my registry:
an easier diaper bag, I had to buy a book bag one. (VERY CONVENIENT)
Tylenol
Little remedies care box thing- comes with gripe water, gas drops..etc
Wash clothes
Crib sheets
DIAPERS-all sizes. My favorite are swaddlers and baby dry.
A nursing necklace (if you plan to nurse)
Lanolin cream
And lactation goodies for you.
Onsies, pajamas and socks.
Bottles for colic and gas. Some babies are more sensitive than others my daughter needed gas drops and special bottles.
Ya I had 150 things on my registry and 25 were bought lol and I had a good number of people at my shower. People buy off the registry usually. And do a diaper raffle at your shower!! You'll get tons of diapers. Also I asked for books instead of cards so I got a lot of books
whatever you want. Put the more exspensive/importany things first like the crinb, stroller/carseat, high chair, things like that. If you go through babies r us, you get 10% off of the rest of the registry items no one bought after the babyshower. Other then that it's pretty much what you want. Most people's go to is clothes so you don't necessarily have to put any on there but if there's like a cute print you really want go for it! I know with walmart and babies r us they have a little checklist for you to use. Some people say certain things are pointless while other say they used that all the time. The one thing I absolutely regret not putting on there and still do is a rocking chair!
ME and my husband scanned lots of diapers, bottles,whips,bibs and clothes all the big stuff like a crib or stroller we didn't bother scanning because haft time people will not buy it we brought it are self.
