What should I do?

So today my six year old has to get dental work done. Not a lot but he is getting his two front teeth removed because they are apparently dead from a fall when he was younger and now they are interfering with the adult teeth trying to come through.

Here is my problem...I made this appointment back in December knowing it takes a month or so to get another one. Today I had to pick him up from school because he wasn't feeling well. Once I got him, he just said he didn't feel well. No fever, slight cough. No big deal. Should I keep the appointment? Or should I call and reschedule?

I did call the dentist. They said to bring him in and they will determine if they could complete the procedure. By the time I made it to the dentist, he did have a fever of 100.9. So of course we rescheduled. And I found him a doctor that could see him. He has the flu. And I thought he was just nervous about going to the dentist! I felt so bad for not really believing him.

I would call and talk to the office. They might want you to reschedule
