Anterior placenta? I found out yesterday, at my 20 week scan, that I have an anterior placenta and won't feel my baby kick as much due to it. Not until late pregnancy. Anyone else have the same thing? If so, when did you feel your baby kick?
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. Congratulations to everyone and I wish you all wonderful pregnancies and deliveries! ??❤
I feel upset my mil is keeping the big box of wipes and diapers I received for my baby shower. I honestly feel like she's trying to have my baby all the time. she's keeping clothes at her house and all. she kept a big thing of Johnson Johnson bath stuff saying I don't need it all. I'm getting annoyed and I'm sick of feeling like just carrying my child for someone else to take over. 😔😔😔 I want want my baby to know his grandparents as grandparents and not trying to be the parent.
I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning

@owenjacesmama, we do! And she does love it, so much! she's the best big sister. I guess I'm just missing my quality time with her lately. I feel like I'm always shushing her while baby sleeps or having to say no about something we would've done no questions before baby came. It's just a big transition for everyone and I don't want her to feel overlooked

Include her in taking care of baby. My kids loved it

I certainly hope so. This year was a big change for her. Her grandmother moved to Seattle, she got two new cousins so was no longer an only grandchild and then bam here comes baby sister. I'm worried it's been too much 😩

I hear you. Breaks your heart when they ask to play and you have to feed baby or change baby. Babies are selfish little creatures. lol jk I'm sure big sister understands on some level.

@ladybug91, I totally understand. I have no one to watch baby for me so that def makes it a little harder I try to set aside time everyday but it doesn't always work out. 😭 I just miss being able to drop everything to play with my big little girl

I feel exactly the same about my 9 year old. 😢 it's so hard to balance your time. We have a weekly day where baby goes to grandmas and they we get time together but still doesn't seem like enough.
