I'm thinking about starting to potty train my son. He will be 2 at the end of march. I know most books say some kids aren't ready until closer to 3, but my son has been showing some of the "signs of readiness" they all give. So I'm thinking of giving it a try. Especially since he has what seems like a compulsion to eat the fuzz and fibers off his diapers. (Super gross, but everything I've read, plus his pediatrician, say that it's normal for most kids his age. And I've tried everything I could think of to get him to stop. It makes me nervous that he's going to get stopped up or god forbid, get a bowel obstruction)
So..like I said, I'm thinking of trying to potty train him.
I'd love to get some ideas on how to start, from you all. What did you do to get your little guys potty trained? What worked? What didn't?
Any advice you all have. I'll gladly take. (:
Happy Wednesday!!

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Moms,
We'd love to know which potty, potty training gear and potty books you own and what you think about it. Tell us why it was great, what the challenges were, why you'd totally register for it again, or why you wanted to return it. We want to hear it all so our moms can make informed decisions about what to buy for their kids!
Thank you!
