I'm stressing out about my man leaving for a week for his job... I'm going to miss him so much it's going to hurt! :'( I'm going to be staying at my parents house for that week but still I know I'm going to be crying myself to sleep at night.... I'm just feeling so sad I just cry just thinking about him leaving :'(

*hugs* I'm in NJ and my fiance is in California for the week. I hate it when he leaves. He travels for work a lot and sometimes we can go with him, but when we can't it's just as hard as the first time!

what do u do to help with being lonely and sad @nomaci

I watch lots of movies, read, sleep with his pillow, I can cuddle our little boy now, and I let myself cry. Oddly enough that helps some, the crying. We speak on the phone every night and some mornings, I try to see friends/family, I cook a lot, and I count down the nights left. It helps me to see how fast the days really go. Tonight is night #3!

@nomaci I'll be staying with my parents that whole week Cuz he doesn't want me alone at home just in case there's an emergencies since so far I've been in the hospital twice since pregnancy. but I was thinking I'll being his sweater and I can sleep with it at night and bring stuff that he gave me for Christmas.. and just little things that I can bring that can comfort me.. and we plan on video chatting which should help.

@nomaci just the closer it gets to the day he has to leave (sunday) the sader and less sleep I get :'( this is day 2 I can't sleep

Oh wow. Yeah, I don't blame him for not wanting you to be alone. Maybe you could ask your doctor what you could do to relax before bed, if any tea or sleep aids would be safe. Video chatting is good. We did that last night. Bring his pillow too, if you can. Cuddling with that should help you feel a lot better.
It will go fast. It won't seem like it does, but it will. Before you know it you'll be going "Wow, he's back tomorrow!"
