Is there anything to help a 2 month old with spitting up? He eats 5 oz then spits up like 3 or 4 times sometimes big amounts and then wants to eat 2 and a half hours later. That is way too often. He goes to the doctor on Thursday and I will talk to her and see if we can change formula or put him on meds or something.
I went from the dr brown to the Avent bottles. I agree the dr brown bottle were a hassle to clean. The playtex vent air claim to do the same. My son will be 14 months and he still has the reflux problem. Had to put him on toddler formula bc he couldn't handle regular milk. I hope you find something that works soon and for
your son
I hate Dr browns bottles. I used them with my first and I said I would never use them again. They leaked at the rim and there are way too many parts to clean and with a toddler too it's just too much. @aluna0914
Have you tried the Dr brown bottles? They help reduce feeding problems like colic, Spit up, burping and gas
He spits up no matter how much he eats unfortunately. That's the biggest issue. @aluna0914
My son was the same way! Dr put him on Similac for Spit Up and I put him on the dr brown bottles. That worked for him. His pediatrician basically told me there isn't much they can do after they're on the Similac for Spit up but thankfully it worked. Maybe try 4 oz instead of 5 oz
his preemie doctors said to wait 2 months and see how the spit up works. He's been on it for 2 months and it isn't getting better or less frequent. It's time to change it. Plus he gets an upset stomach and very gassy several times a day. @lacyleann
My daughter is on sensitive. .. it's really really good..
I've tried everything that was recommended by y'all so I'm at a loss. All I can think of is switching formula to similac sensitive (the switch helped my niece) and medicine to help it. Thank you. I'll keep you guys updated. @lacyleann
see my daughter was doing the same.. docs told me feed her less. but more often.. but to make sure I was burping her several times.... good luck with with him I hope everything is good tho (:
the preemie doctors didnt seem concerned about it. I haven't talked to his pediatrician yet. I will Thursday. @lacyleann
we start off with 2 oz when he thinks he's hungry before feeding time. @lacyleann
he's on Similac spit up. it isn't helping any. We burp several times in a feeding. He is upright and stays up for 30 minutes after. Nothing seems to work. He also doesn't like the more expensive ones. He likes the cheap 1 dollar bottles. @dmmarie21
What formula is he currently on? My son has reflux, and used to do the same thing. We started using bottles that limit air intake, feeding upright and feeding smaller amounts more often. I usually start with 2 oz at a time. It may be back to back but with smaller amounts it allows a break. I also burp more frequently. We tried several different formulas because it seemed as though he was always in pain. The one that has been working the best for us is similac spit up. It's the green can. It's made a world of difference. It is a little thicker so it helps specifically for the reflux. Also- there are special directions on the back of you happen to try it!
My son spits up almost everything he eats and he sucks in a lot of air when he nurses how do I fix that.
Does anybody else’s son or daughter spit up after there done eating my sons been breastfeeding but it seems like he spits up after ... and I pump too and he spits up when I give him breast milk out of a bottle and he’s 1 week old is that ok?
My baby is 7 months and every now n then he’s been waking up choking on spit; he freaks out he can’t breathe and gasps for air. Not sure if this is normal in baby’s. Is there anything I can do to help? He didn’t eat for like 2 hours before he went to bed
So, does anyone else’s baby spit up a lot ? I feel like he just eats to much/to fast . I switched his formula to the sensitive kind , but he only formula feeds before bed and when we’re out . And we’re not out a lot . But he spits up my breast milk too. I’ll feed him and he’ll scream like he’s still hungry so I’ll feed him more until he seems like he’s not but he ALWAYS spits up. Idk what to do . I’ve tried burping more often , switching my diet , everything .

He wants to keep eating and eating his limit is 4 oz but he'll still want more he won't stop crying unless I do what do I do he doesn't like his pacifier he spits it out 👶🏻
thank you. i do too. tomorrow can't come soon enough. @aluna0914
