So my SO's 'sister' has been buying stuff for Baby Colten nonstop. Now she has decided she wants to help with our baby shower this Saturday. I don't mind it at all it's just I don't know her well. And I hate talking to people and he is leaving me to talk to her about the shower by myself. It's nerve wrecking.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
It's just awkward. She isn't really his sister. She is his half sister's sister. And I've only been around her a few times. She has decided she wants to make a bunch of decorations which I am thankful for since we were keeping things simple to keep the cost down. But I just feel weird about it.
