Alright my birth story for my son Dean,

My pregnancy was a long and stressful time. Between 7 months till the delivery my husband and I were struggling because we were homeless. Not to mention my OBGYN dropped me as a patient a week before I gave birth. Days went by with non stop stress. My due date was Dec 5th, however I started to vomit and have contractions along with leaking so I went to the hospital on the 21st of November. I was there for a few hours. Before I was examined the nurse and on call doctor wanted to know who my OBGYN was and I told them I no longer had one because he dropped me as a patient. After awhile I was in a room by myself, I told the nurse my symptoms and my nurse said my water was not broken and I must have peed myself (Which I did not). I was hooked up to an IV because I was malnourished and dehydrated. An on call doctor came in and asked me a couple questions. And apparently that in call doctor knew my old OBGYN and proceed to lecture me about how I must have not been following the old doctors directions and that it was my fault. After a few hours I was out of the hospital. Until around 12 (22nd) midnight my water broke and I did not go back to the hospital until around 4 because we didn't know if it was my water. When I was examined the nurse wanted to know why I didn't stay if my water broke at midnight and lectured me. Speed through until around later on when I get the epidural, when they put it in my back they did not put it in correctly. They had to remove it and try again. When they put in my captor they put it in wrong to where I could feel it when the epidural faded. It was painful. Later on the next morning the epidural did not work any longer and somehow was only working on my shoulder and vanished. So I was screaming and crying in pain only to have nurse tell me I was overreacting. I was screaming until 5 nurses and another on call doctor came in to fix my epidural and boost it. Speed through until I am fully dilated. My husband and sister were by my side when I began to push. Same nurse as before did not check the thing that checks your blood pressure and the thing continually squeezes my arm until I was screaming in pain. Which she didn't care. She didn't care that I was in so much pain while pushing or anything telling me "if you continue to act like that no one will want to help you or be around you" "breath away the pain" "crying will not get you anywhere" "stop over reacting". When I was crying and screaming I accidentally reached for her arm and she literally smacked my hand away. I was at the point of pushing, crying, and screaming for 2 1/2 hours when the on call doctor decided to come. And he was much worse than the nurse. No patience or sympathy. I nearly passed out plenty of times. The nurse has the nerve to move her attention to the students in the room and ignore me while I was pushing. Giving me attitude because I kept pooping myself while pushing. And was not helpful when it came to informing me how to push correctly. While the doctor just stood there lecturing me on how I'm being a terrible person. Threatening to give me a c section if I wouldn't work with the nurse and show her some respect. He then proceeded to snip my vagina with no numbing and numbed me AFTER. Shoving in forceps inside me wrong three times while trying to yank out my baby. Until he pushes the baby further back inside me. Which I had to go into an emergency c section. Come to find out my baby was faced the wrong way and they didn't catch that UNTIL they did the c section. I stayed in the hospital for 4-5 days and that doctor only came to see me twice. Not answering any questions and being an asshole until the day I left. I'm just glad my boy came out healthy. #birthstory #birthingstory #birthhorrorstories
