A print of my placenta (that's blood) & the umbilical cord.
It's a service they offered at the birth center. Also got the placenta encapsulated. She also gave me a placenta tincture & "broth". How amazing!!
I definitely don't think this is gross I personally think this neat and amazing it's a Great Keepsake
@brendabravo93 I don't know why it's so gross, but I respect your comment. 😃 People wear dead cow skin on their feet & rabbits on their head. I had my baby's umbilical cord dried up as a keepsake. To each their own. 😄 I think it's beautiful. @kellyl22 I understand your opinion. I'm very into traditional Chinese medicine & the eating of your dried placenta is a practice from their culture that I respect 100%. 💞❣️💞❣️💞
@smilingwithmyawesome4kids you could find someone who does it independently & then speak to your OB about it. I'm pretty sure the girl who did mine does hospital births too.
@sk216 @yanald90 @smilingwithmyawesome4kids thank you! it's so beautiful. 😍 totally made day 2 as a tired mommy a lot better.
Yeah.. It's still pretty Gross objectively. Also all the science and research on ingesting the placenta shows its all placebo
@brendabravo93, well hopefully it's not tooo gross since it's inside your body and where the baby lives for up to 9 months......
