Ah I waited 9 weeks but I had a third degree tear with 20+ stitches

you should be fine but make sure to be careful , it might hurt and use lube trust me it helps
6 weeks is whats recommended. I didn't even come close to waiting 6 weeks. I waited 11 days and I was fine.
@miller76, yeah i think my ob said 6 weeks too, but i feel ok lol i'm just scared to.. lol
My Docter recommended 6-8 weeks. I felt ready around 5 weeks and attempted it, but it was uncomfortable and started to bleed again.
I would wait until your Docter clears you. You could have no bleeding and still have some healing up to do (that's what happened to me)
I was about 7 weeks postpartum, probably could have much sooner but I wasn't ready emotionally. Just go slow and talk to your partner. I've heard some ladies say they needed lubricant so keep that in mind.
