I need your moms help! I have an one year old That doesn't sleep thru the night he still wakes up three time for a bottle! it's really wearing me out please help
Why do you feel like a horrible mother? Many babies don't sleep at night. You just have to stick to your guns and let him cry. He will start to learn not to get up. As for holding his breath, he will breathe eventually. I also wouldn't completely get rid of bottles. He's only a little over a year old. Alot of babies still want bottles before bed. Just start introducing a sippy slowly in exchange for a normal bottle. I give my son a sippy when I give him baby food or he feeds himself.
He can't have a bottle if you don't have any in the house. Throw them away and make it clear that he can have drinks in a sippy or a cup
well I will have to try but it's so hard cause he will hold his breath till he's blue and throw. a fit
Yeah, my daughter is 2 months old and sleeps though the night every night. You have to think that if he cries for the bottle and you give it to him then he knows if he cries for long enough then he will get it. If you stop giving it to him then he will learn that no matter how much he cries he won't get it so he will stop
Yeah stopping feedings at night is key. It's a bad habit now and he will cry. You just have to let him learn it's time to sleep. My pedi said to stop feeding them at night at 3 months old and worked for us luckily.
That's okay. If you're firm with it then he will get the point. You have to be consistent or it confuses them

Well he uses his sippy cup all day long he just wants his bottle when he wants to go to bed
