Yes you're young but you gotta pull yourself up by your bootstraps and get to it. Do you qualify for Medicaid? That will take the delivery burden off if you don't have insurance. My delivery was about $10,000 for a simple, uncomplicated birth. You gotta start somewhere with the "adult stuff". I wish they had stressed it and taught it more in high school of how hard it really is to do your own thing as an adult. It's not easy by any means. I won't sugar coat it. Having a baby isn't easy but it can be very rewarding. Save as much as you can and try to work until you give birth. Glad I did but I was almost forced to be a SAHM because we couldn't afford daycare and my pay would just go to someone watching him. I have recently looked into state pay daycare that will pay. It helps alot since you really need all you can get. Sometimes you don't have a choice and have to work, think about single mothers or fathers. They don't really have a choice. You do what is best for your family not anyone else even if that means having to be away from your baby. Don't think of it as pushing your baby on someone else. Getting married won't change anything and may actually deny you from the benefits if government assistance. (Just got engaged after my son was born) In the states eyes you're a single mother. You also have much better odds of having a healthy pregnancy than not. Just take it a day at a time and don't over think it. Everything will fall into place. Just grind out for the time being. Good Luck! Message me if you have questions. Also don't forget to @ the person you're commenting back to or they won't get the notification of your reply. @rkrysted98

I have just turned 18 in September and I've never had to deal with 'adult stuff' you could say what I mean is insurance hospital stuff what if I don't do things right or I forget something I just feel I'm going to mess up being pregnant I know it sounds crazy but that's how I feel

as for bills to pay we haven't really saved money at all we will for the next 7 1/2 months but I've been told it's expensive to deliver a baby

we are so young I don't want to push my child onto someone else and have to work and never see my child while my boyfriend makes enough money to take care of all 3 of us is staying home Worth not having money

we have talked about getting married and with the baby would it be better to now will single mother benefits be better than being married or vise versa

there is a million things running through my mind all the time

I also have had stomach problems for the past couple years and I don't want that to cause complications

sorry for going on and on this pregnancy is very unexpected but I'm happy and scared and feel overwhelmed

I am 22 with my first baby and it's certainly scary and exciting all at once.

Type your main questions and concerns you have and I'll be more than happy to give you any advice I have on anything ...

I was like you and wanted all the support I could get. You got this mama!
