Does anyone else have a 6 month old who barely sleeps at night?
His day is busy, I make sure he gets play time (bounce on his bouncer, tummy time, plays with his toys and even on swing) he takes naps and eats solid foods+formula.
Any tips on how I might be able to get him to stay asleep a little long at night? He gets up every 2/3 hours.
She takes about 3 30 minute naps! One about an hour after she wakes up, one in the middle of the day, and one in the evening. Sometimes she'll take more and those are the nights she's up often. She also usually tries to go to bed around 5 or 6, and I have to get her up so she won't be up and ready for the day at 3am. It's normal for baby to not sleep through the night at 6 months, though! Some wake up because they're hungry, others wake up for comfort. Also if this isn't a normal thing or its become more frequent, he could be going through a growth spurt! They hit one around 6 months. Does he sleep with you, or in his own room? We noticed once we put Isabelle in her own room, she slept better (but that's all about how comfortable you are with it).
Thanks @scurlock.mommy, I will try giving him a calming bath with bottle to see if it helps. He takes about 3 naps 2 cat naps that doesn't even last 20minutes but that 1 nap he do take is long.. maybe that's it.
How long and how many naps does your daughter take?
@scurlock.mommy thanks a lot this really helps because his naps sometimes are longer then hers so that & he sleeps in his own bed but in my room so this also can be part of it. Thanks I'll try n keep him busy n only leave him with 30min naps during the day also also
