I would love a home birth but am too far away from hospital.

However I think they are great, you are more comfortable at home and you will have 1 or 2 midwives with you at all times(just for you). peeps say they wouldn't incase things go wrong but you can get a home visit during your labour and if the midwife says you can stay at home then stay. You can find out the average transfer rate of home births to hospital of your hospital to make you feel at ease but honestly hun these are rare, basildon have a less than 5% transfer rate and the hospital I work in London had a 1% transfer rate.
