my son is not talking yet and he's almost 2 is that normal?
boys take longer to speak than girls. ask his pediatrician on the next visit. if they aren't concerned, you don't need to be either.
I think it's just a boy thing. They say girls talk first and talk more and the boys are more active. And it's true with my experience.
I can't say for my own son (only 3 months) but I was a healthy active baby and I didn't talk until 3 years old. Every baby is so incredibly different. I have already prepared myself if my son is like me... it'll be a looong 3 years! 😂
I'll be honest I don't read to him that much as I should but he loves music and me singing to him
I hope so because being a first time mom u don't know what to do sometimes
Yes. my daughter said some words and we were scared as well so the doctor made an appointment with the speech therapists for after her birthday but then a week before her birthday she started talking in full blown sentences. If you notice he doesn't talk after 2 just talk with his doctor to see the next step. 😘
thanks you guys every little thing helps especially since I'm a first time mom plus I found out my dad didn't talk till he was 3
