Just bought my daughter's crib? Are your nurseries complete or are you even doing one?
Yeah it's exhausting for sure! If you're BF you'll feel like a human cow for a few weeks. lol
They can go hand in hand, yes. Sometimes it's just mental development from learning so much so fast that gets them like that too.
I swear I need to read a book about newborns. I know nothing about sleep regression. Is this when growth spurts are happening?
Yeah my brother didn't sleep through the night until he was 3 years old! We have rough nights every great once in a while when the dreaded sleep regressions hit.
Yeah I like made sure I could breathe through it and I didn't have a problem. It's also a no no to have a blanket to sleep but he loves his blanket. It made me nervous when he was younger. I don't really worry about it so much anymore. He hasn't ever been tangled in it or over his face. I tried taking his bumper out a few weeks ago and nope, we still need it. lol
@jacesterlingsmommy, Ok. Great info. My friend had her baby sleeping through night at 2 months. I was wondering if that was too early. But like you said, it depends on the baby.
Doctor told us to stop feeding him in the middle of the night starting at 3 months old and it worked like a charm. At that age they're capable enough to go all night. He sleeps 12 hours. Routine is a must. It's really unnecessary when they're a newborn because they get up so often. Now he's in bed no later than 8 (last night it was 715) Baths help before bed too. Starting at 7 I turn the lights off in the house and have wind down time for him and that helps alot too. It's a lot of trial and error as to what works for your baby.
Then again, there are only 4 grandchildren including myself. Very small family
My daughter will be the first baby in my maternal family to have an official nursery. My mom and grandma slept all the babies with them or on little cots. Boy have times changed. Lol
@ftm_0221, I have a mesh one in there now but I'm gonna take it out before I put the baby in there. I got it at my shower tho. Maybe I'll put it in when he's older.
@shellbell0391 did you purchase a bumper for your lil ones crib? if so, where from? if you don't mind me asking lol
@shellbell0391, Awesome. I using a light grey paint on my walls. Love that grey with color pops!!!
Congrats to you. My baby won't sleep in her room until she at least 4-6 months old. I bought an arms reach co sleeper so she'll be beside my bed (not in my bed! Lol)
@jacesterlingsmommy, Ha!😂
