How do you get your baby to take the boob? I try and get her to latch everyday but she doesn't want to she got used to eating breast milk out of a bottle in the nicu.

If you do get a nipple shield they aren't meant for long term use, they are just supposed to suck on it enough to pull your nipples out to help them attach to your bare nipple. When I was in the hospital I couldn't get my son to latch and they gave me one and didn't tell me to only use it till my nipple was out enough and it made my nipple bleed.
