How early did you introduce baby food to your child? My mom and dad fed my 3 other children super early. I am asking cause they switched my sons formula again and with it being switched it has made him have really bad diarrhea. I was thinking of giving him some bananas since its supposed to help with upset tummies or diarrhea. He has pooped probably about 20 times since yesterday morning. He has a terrible diaper rash and I'm doing everything i know to help him, but he wont stop pooping!
Have you tried similac alimentum. It's similar to what he is on now. My son is on it and has been for some time now. These types of formula will make the stool softer since everything is already broke down in the formula. At least that is what my doctor said. My son was switched because other formula made his poo acidic so he had a constant diaper rash that would not go away. How long has he been on the new formula.
Maybe he still needs a different one my daughter has bad tummy problems too and finally after 8 months we found a formula that doesn't give her any problems she's on enfamil AR
It could just be his body adjusting from the formula change! 2 months is way too young for food and could give him lots of issues.
My other 3 ate super early, like probably a month or two cause i lived with my mom and dad and they are old fashioned. My other 3 done fine, but my last son has terrible tummy problems. The first formula he was on, Similac for immune support, gave him bad gas to the point he was screaming. The second, Similac fussiness and gas, kept him constipated and wouldn't poop without a suppository. The third, Similac total comfort, he started pooping normal but was spitting up almost his entire bottle. He didnt even gain an ounce for 2 weeks. Now hes on Nutramigen and i think its just the change in formula that is making him poop so bad right now.
I also put mylicon in every bottle for gas.
