I've been using pads after my dnc, it's been 5 days. Now that I have to use pads for a couple weeks (I'm normally a tampon only when in my period) I am so irritated down there and red, idk if my body is not use to using pads or what!
Has any body ever had irritation from using pads

Try to switch to a thinner pad, that's what I had to do. And then if it's irritated and painful. You can spray a lidocaine spray on to help with discomfort.

@viiviian.aiide, my mom is a RN and she said it's prob from the pads, I was fine when I went to the doctor Tuesday and the irritation started yesterday, so I'm sure it's from the pads I go to the doc next Monday for a follow up. If it's still there I will bring it up then
Yea. Maybe you can use something for the irritation at the store... but if you're more concern then you can bring it up to your doctor:)

I'm a tampon person as well and pads irritates me..
I am not bleeding a lot anymore but I try to ever few hrs and I just bought panty liners yesterday. I kinda dab when I use tp sometimes I'll use my sons baby wipes.
Pain management please 🙋🏽 my son been moving a lot my back and legs been cramping and my whole body just hurts. Then my stomach been numb and irritating at the bottom. Oh yeah on top of that I have heartburn out the ass 🤦🏽♀️
I'm gonna be so uncomfortable with having to use pads after giving birth. I absolutely hate pads. I haven't used them since I was about 15. 😖

I had the thinnest pad you could by and just switched to panty liners today.
