5 months and already sitting down on her own 😱😬😭is this normal lol? i always thought babies sat down on their own around 8 months

Hello Moms and Moms-to-be! Long time member @junesmommy15 has a 4-month old son that was born with an undescended testicle, meaning it hasn’t come down into his scrotum yet. Her pediatrician explained that they will wait until he’s 6 months to see if the testicle will fall down on its own. If it does not, they will perform surgery to pull it down. Her doctor told her if her son does not have the surgery to correct it, an undescended testicle may cause infertility and testicular cancer as an adult. She’s very worried about the surgery and she’s praying it comes down on its own. If anyone has experience with something like this, please message her or leave comments below. Last Name Any single mothers give or plan to give their baby their own last name? The father seems to be up and down about whether he is going to be involved further than just a paycheck so I kind of think it would be more appropriate to give baby my own last name. Thoughts?

between 5 & 6 months are the protected time they usually do. but some do it earlier while others do it later
