around wat age did/do u move ur baby from the bassinet to the crib. he still wakes up every hr and half to 2 hrs sometimes he will go 3 hrs.
@bry93, hopefully not ! But lately he would wake up around 2-3 to eat like he was having a growth spurt or somewhat so I started putting rice cereal in his bottle or giving him a bowl of oatmeal for babies and it helps him sleep longer, you could try it but sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't
I switched my son from bassinet to crib at 3 months. He cried somewhat the first night but adjusted to it quickly but he started sleeping through the night then. I know some moms who's kids didn't sleep through the night until about 1
I woke up when daddy moved lol. it's amazing how I would know. but I always put up the arm guard. 😊💪💪 so I can't say that I was really ever in a deep sleep but I know I slept better with him being my best lil spooner. I know that I've read a few articles about how toddlers should sleep in your bed till 3/4 but most self wean into their own bed around the same age 3/4 depending on their individual personality. you gotta do what's best for you and yours.
ya. I'd have to agree with that I'll make him move just to make sure he's ok @rene_74
ya. same here.. he sleeps in it during the day now since he won't sleep as long in it.
and so far I wake up wen either of us move but I'm scared that it only takes once. even tho it is so hard not to just let him sleep with us cuz I can just stick the boobs in his mouth lol @rene_74 but my main reason for not doing it is because of my cousin and I don't want him only wanting to sleep with us
not to mention.. the entire time he slept in his Moses style bassinet.. I had the light on. 1 bc I couldn't stop looking at him. (ftm) and 2 bc I wanted to make sure he was breathing lil
@bry93 I was worried I'd roll over too, but there is no way that a sober mother is going to roll over or leery him be rolled on. I woke/ wake up every time he moves. or my hubby. but my instincts are still to watch him even in a half sleep. I know I may have difficulty getting him in his own bed only bc our bed is really soft temperedic. not bc he's scared lol. my son hated the pack in play. too firm.
ya. I had a pack n play as his bassinet at first but he woke up every hr until we moved him to the bassinet he's in now per Dr suggestions cuz it's more comfortable so we might put him back in the pack n play til he's 1 then the crib @jdamommy3 @v.moya @rene_74 @korahleah_11
Mine was 5 months old but we had the crib in our room until she was a year old.
@korahleah_11 ok thanx
@rene_74 I'd have to agree that it is easier to just put him in bed with me wen he wakes up to eat but I'm scared to co sleep cuz 1 we could roll on him and 2 me cousin did and she's 3 now and is scared to sleep alone
my son slept in his bassinet till 5 months- in our room- when he out grew it, then immediately in our bed. still there at 2 1/2 yrs. daddy and I sleep better with him in the same room. he also sleeps better. plus I was breastfeeding thru the night- so that made my life a lot easier instead of getting up every 2 hours for a "dream feed" (5 min) to crawl back to bed.. when I can just roll him over. best investment... a bed rail.
I was terrified of S.I.D.S. I still put my hand on my son to check. #paranoidmom
ok thanx. I will @blakesmommyyy
