Being a mom is the most wonderful thing I've ever experienced. Also, being a mom is the hardest thing I've ever experienced! I know I'm not saying anything new but man, I'm worn out, I'm cranky with the people who are trying to help me, I'm sleep deprived, I'm not doing my best at work or at home, and I put dish soap in the dishwasher at work and flooded the whole break room with suds. I love my baby more than anything in this world, but I need a break! I actually got a 10 minute shower this morning by myself and then snapped at my hubby with " I can't even get a minute of alone time" because he said "hey babe." What the hell? This momma needs some sleep and a hormone change.. STAT!!!

I hear ya. I've been slept deprived for weeks. My daughter (6 year old) wakes up screaming and crying in pain that her stomach hurts. Doc says it is from stress and and anxiety. By the time I get her calmed down and back in bed the baby wakes up. This goes on all night every night causing me to get ten minutes of sleep per night. My ten minute shower is the only free time I ever get. I feel so snappy all the time. You just have to keep your head and try and remain positive. Sometimes you need to just lock yourself in the bathroom for five minutes to yourself away from everyone.
