Just filled our application out. I hope we get approved too! I can't stand when people sell their food stamps and then use the money for drugs or alcohol! Especially when there's ppl out here who actually need the government assistance that they're taking advantage of! I was in the Dollar General once and saw someone pay for their full buggy of candy and junk food and then turned around to give her card to her friend who had another buggy full of junk as well! 😡

I can understand getting a treat here and there , who doesn't want oreos or something. I mean I try when I go shopping on my budget when my daughter is with me she asks for gummies or juice boxes with the Disney character heads on them.
But going out and buying bags or bars of candy no that makes me mad

Girl I know someone who has 2 brand new cars, huge house, she's a RN and he works for my dad (so I know how much he makes. And they get $800 a month and they brag on it

They went to my sisters work at Papa Murphys asked for her family and friend discount and they used their food stamps. Very annoying
agreed @faithfulmom26 what kills me is when I see people with the latest phones all designer clothing pull out and swipe a food stamp card...like....how?? why???
@genesismommy26, @newlywedmama21, and I know ppl who got two brand new cars, a big house and money in the bank and receive like $200-$300 in food stamps! Smh system is messed up
They told me that since I have a 2014 vehicle that I could afford groceries, I was like I make payments on it like most Americans and I did that so I didn't have to worry about having to fix a car all the time and have something reliable since I have children. @faithfulmom26,
The people who actually need the help can't get it ever it feels like. I would like to have them to get ahead and save money not live paycheck to paycheck

when I was working part time and applied for food stamps girl they only gave me $38 😂 but now that I'm not working and my husband is he "makes too much" remind you rent alone is a months pay! Smh it's okay I'll stay humble and leave it in gods hands! 👌🏼🙏🏼

It's odd, I told them, I have enough to pay my bills and I have $100 left from each check and that's for food and gas...
But if I lied about what I put like some people I might get a ton.
(Mind you this was when I had my daughter) luckily I was able to get somewhat of help.

no we don't qualify for that either @faithfulmom26. apparently we make "too much money" for any assistance. smh. and we are a family of 5 soon to be 6. so it really upsets me when I see people abusing the system. my friend even tried...shes a single mom and they gave her $16 in food stamps and then took it away after a few months. what a joke....
