Has anyone took their 6 month old swimming? Could you tell me you're experience & what should I do/expect? First time mom to I have no idea what I'm doing 🙈

@sara-lou, good advice, I'm going to take a towel to out near poolside to get her wrapped up straight away xxx
And don't get put off if she doesn't seem keen or gets upset. The more you go the more she'll get used to it. Was hard to tell on Max's face if he liked it or not as he never smiled. Then each time we've gone back he's smiled a bit more, laughed & seems to like it. Just go in for a little while each time.
One of those all in one suits that covers some of their arms & legs would help. Most pools are heated so it's not too cold. I found all the time their in the water their fine it's when you lift them up.

40/45mins I think @hawkie75 I think it's only been in the past year Morgan's stayed in there over an hour & we have to fight to get him out! Haha
@mrsnelly2013, I'm taking my lil girl on Sunday for the first time, she's 15 weeks on Monday, I've bought a float seat from Argos, I think it's zoggs, hope she likes it, @sara-lou, how long did your little ones withstand staying in without getting too cold?
I've been taking Max since he was 10weeks. Morgan started 16weeks. I find a baby ring seat really helpful. I hold them in the water first so they get used to it & I can dunk them up and down a bit. The seat is nice for them to sit in & then you can also have a bit of a swim as well. I just got a zoggs one from Amazon. Both boys looked unsure the 1st time but as they got used to it really enjoyed it 😊
I bought one from Argos can't remember the name and dont think you really need to stick to the baby pool but its usually warmer in there haha @mrsnelly2013
@chesscalouise2, thank you. My little girl loves the bath, she splashes & squeals. Always wanted to take her swimming. Do we just go in the baby pool? Need to get a float what do you suggest?
I take my daughter swimming she loves being in the water but hates going in the showers but yours could be different plus take a bottle for when they get out of the water someone on her told me that and it really helped @mrsnelly2013 xx

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing.
