i need a little advice, My due date isn't until 04-21-17 but I'm really stressed at the fact that my husband & I don't have anything for her .. like nothing! no clothes , no crib , no carseat, no bottles , no diapers ect and since I'm a stay at home mom he feels like I'm rushing for no reason because we have a lil less then 3 months to get her stuff & he keeps saying he's not in a rush to spend HIS money & we should just wait until we get our taxes but ... we worked so many jobs last year who knows when we'll get all of our w2s & when we'll receive our refund , basically am I rushing things by wanting to get ready for her asap ?

I am literally in the same boat as u... I dnt plan on having a baby shower n I'm a stay at home mom due 3/12/17... if it's bothering u that much start looking online or at consignment shops for items cz guys lii sales n bargains just as much as females do.... start making a list n price checking too... if u post it online u would be surprised how many ppl may actually give you stuff for free in try n buy clothes in bulk from ppl... cz I went to the thift shop 2 times n bought off someone in bulk and I'm set on clothes it's the other stuff I gtta get n all w2's should be mailed out by the end of the month if I'm nt mistaken... but dnt stress it always works itself out
@jkdsmommy I understand where you are coming from ... I barely get hours at work. and im not having shower either. so if i start buying now 1 item a week until she's born i still will not have everything i need ... I think you should start gradually .. im starting soon ..
my whole thing is , I'm not having a baby shower nor do we have family to help us out, its all on us so I'll rather be prepared then to rush at the every last min .
Na you're an excited mom. But honestly you don't know when baby is coming I had absolutely nothing I was so worried and I was high risk preterm labor I knew she would come early luckily I had a shower and got so many things I didn't have to buy diapers until she was 7 months she's 9 now haven't spent a dime on clothes nothing but she came 4 days after my shower so I got lucky
I'm due 2-11, my baby's nursery is a mess, tons of clothes laying around, so much to be done... His crib is set up in my bedroom & ready for him, I have my diaper bag packed for the hospital but I've yet to pack myself... I'm totally not in any hurry, as long as his crib is set up, he'll be sleeping in our room anyway he doesn't need his nursery, and I can work on it even after he is here.. but even before I didn't buy a single thing until AFTER my baby shower which was just a few weeks ago, that's the smart thing to do. I got a lot at my baby shower thankfully, then I made a list of everything I still needed and started purchasing.
No ur not rushing but it wouldn't hurt to wait a little either. Or atleast start out slowly
Giiiiirl same situation!!! Im due 3-18 and we had and still dont have much for her. Luckily my cousin who had a girl is giving us their stroller carseat clothes crib swing and bouncer. But she still doesn't have much clothes. no diapers just yet. we had a boy a year ago so we have all his clothes but useless cause we're having a girl now. i only kept the white onesies. Im such in a rush and have been because i dont work so I dont bring in any money. he does. and its like i know its his money but come on its your daughter also start buying at least diapers since we aren't having a baby shower either.
