Okay ladies. I am in need of motivation and time management skills. I am a single mother of an almost 2 year old as well as a full time student. My classes are all fast forward(7weeks). So they rush by. I take my son to day care everyday bc I either need to go to school or to work. Then I pick him up. Rush through the motions of play, dinner, bath time, story time, then putting him to bed. I've started putting him to bed earlier so I can attempt homework before midnight. Oh wait..I forgot dishes and laundry...and my shower. All of this with no help from his father and little help from family. How do you stay afloat? How do you manage spending time with your children, while trying to maintain your grades/gpa, go to work, keep the house from looking like a disaster, and not forgetting about yourself, all in 24 hours?
Wow that's amazing to hear. It's hard to step up and be in that position sometimes. But maybe try visiting your baby on your lunch break if it's possible or take a day off when you see it possible to spend a while day off with him. Maybe you don't have much time for him now but you do all of this for him and yourself. In the future you will see it pay off.
