My husband an I purchased a home about 5 months ago that is about 30 to 40 miles from where we rented. All of our "friends" all the sudden dont even talk to us. It is really making me feel like we where used. Our old house was the "go to" spot. Every weekend "said friends" where over. We hosted every event. From bachelor parties to baby showers to birthday parties, even all the holiday parties. I don't know if I'm right to have these feeling or if I'm just being a big cry baby. lol Any advice?

@sarahbelle I'm trying to stay hopeful to meet new people or maybe our "friends" will realize what they are doing and keep in contact more.
I don't understand how people can be to busy to send a hello or how are you doing text but can post every min of there life on social media
Same exact thing happened to me! It sucks and it hurts but I just have the remain hopeful that I'll make new friends here one day... :/
aww.. it's sucks that they can't even attempt to stay in contact... I hope it works out for you.... it'll hurt my feelings also
@dawnrose I don't know anyone in this new city. The schools are even "closed campus" so it's not like in my old area where I could meet new friends at my children's school. Our neighbors are an older retired couple and we live on 1 or more acer lots so we are not really close.
I was hoping to make some friends on this group that's why I joined :-)
@destanyb I have talked about it with some telling them that I'm kinda feeling "iced out" got the response that "no it wasn't that, they are just busy"
@ingridm89 I kinda felt like they where my good friends. I guess this is just proving that they are not.
I was thinking since I'm a stay at home mom that maybe that's why I'm taking a little rough
Best way to find out is to talk about it ☺️ Just be honest about your feelings and give them an opportunity to either clear it up and be better friends or continue to be not so good friends and show their motives for good.
it happens. I moved also and now I hardly talk to anyone. I was a bit sad at first, but it's okay. That's just life. Luckily I have 3-4 good friends.
My husband seems ok with it all, but he is gone at work 12 hours a day with other adults, not understanding what only talking to children all day can do to a sane person. lol
