Daycare question: My son goes to a home daycare.... And his childcare lady mentioned to me her uncle only comes around…

Daycare question: My son goes to a home daycare.... And his childcare lady mentioned to me her uncle only comes around sometimes... Well I've been seeing him and his car everyday when I drop and pickup my son..... I believe I have the right to know who lives there, correct? Is it rude to ask her if I could do a back ground check on her uncle? I never see him in the house, and his car is now parked down the street... I feel like he is hiding!

Girrrrrll no it's not rude at allll. As a parent it's your job to always protect your child and to know what's going on when it comes to them. People nowadays are evil and do horrible things to not only kids but adults. I don't see anything wrong with asking questions and making sure your son is around safe people and a safe environment.

@rayannmariee, Totally agree.... I just find it hard to bring it up, I never can find the right time.... I think I'll just text her. I have nagged her about so many others things already! I told her already I'm one of those overly protective mothers. You think she would get the hint by now... but again that's prob why he is trying to hide. Ugh! I hate daycare!

Question. I just left my husband for cheating and now hes been harassing me. Hes threatening to come get our son. I dont care if he sees his son but I'm not comfortable with him leaving with him bc hes never taken care of him a day In his life and he might use him against me. Am I wrong for feeling this way??

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
