Haven't had a period since I had my son in October 😱

@amberr, i had some clear discharge and def started feeling a little hormonal ahaha

I EBF and haven't had a period since before I got pregnant in May of 2015! My daughter is about to be a year and I dread the day I do get it! I used to get them so bad 😩

They told me breastfeeding can only count as a form of birth control for the first 6 months, and only if you're exclusively breastfeeding. If you're not breastfeeding then yes it's even more likely to get pregnant again right away. I can't remember the reasoning behind it though. I didn't know that it was only reliable for 6 months- I mean, I did, BUT I thought since I didn't even get a period until 12 months pp that I would have a few whacky cycles and then I would get back on track but it was my 3rd cycle after having my son that I got pregnant again.

After my first son I didn't get my period until he was 5 1/2 months old and I didn't breastfeed him. With my itty bitty I'm still breastfeeding so that's why my periods didn't start back up until I was 12 months pp.

Since February 2015 I've only had 2 actual periods. I got pregnant with my son, delivered him early, then didn't start my period again until he was 12 months old, had only one more period after that before getting pregnant again.

how can you tell @peaceandhippielove sorry to be tmi but me and my husband hate condoms and we use to always track my period to make sure not to do it on fertile days but now I have no clue what my body is doing lol

Yeah I haven't had a period since last November! The beauty of breastfeeding! Ahaha I'm ovulating for sure though!
