thoughts about letting your baby self sooth, I usually don't let my daughter cry I hate heating her…

I know the feeling! My boy rarely cries but lately all he wants is to be held. He's been super fussy the past two days. :/

@lonzos_mommy same here only time she cries is when she's sleepy or hungry. my mom has been telling it's because she feels theirs another baby on the way. she's going to want mommy all the time.

I let my daughter self sooth and I use the cry it out method. Her pedi recommended the cry it out method for when it's bedtime. It's work great for me. My daughter isn't dependent on me for everything. She crawls to her room and plays by herself all the time, she puts herself to sleep for naps. Literally will grab her own blanket and crawl in her bouncer and go to sleep or goes to sleep with her teddy bears on the floor. She is very independent. She comes to me for a sippy, to eat, be changed, or she wants loves. Other than that she's in her own little world. I play with her still but when I'm cleaning or doing homework I love that she can do her own little thing and not need me. I started the cry it out method when my daughter was 4/5 months.

@lezlie527, aww yeah could be that. Babies are smart and sense those things. Now that you said that, I remember my baby cousin hated me my entire pregnancy lol. He would not get near me or let me carry him. He would cry😩

@babynessa my daughter just turned 4 months old and I think I'm going to start doing the cry it out method.. I definitely want her to be independent and not always need mommy. it's just hard breaking, but I need to do it. thanks

we are currently going through that now. let my boy cry for the first time.... hated it.... but I'm really hoping he starts sleeping all night soon.. my 1st born has been sleeping all night since he was two months.. I was delusional to think #2 would be the same way 🙈

Oh it's hard at first. I caved so many times. Her pedi told me to put ear plugs in or sit in the car and let my husband deal with her because he wouldn't cave. She also told my husband to lock me in the bathroom or our bedroom so I wouldn't go get her lol. It broke my heart but after a while I was fine. She still crys sometimes, not often but sometimes, for about five ten mins. I just poke my head in her room tell her I love her and she's ok then leave. I think it's worth it in the long run. @lezlie527

@babynessa omg I read your comment and thought damn her daughter is so independent, my baby is the same just she can't fully crawl yet so she talks loud for me if I'm out of the room and she wants me😂

Lol yeah my daughter yells for me if she needs me. Literally will scream "mama nooo". Thats when I know she needs me for something. But other than that she's literally is the easiest little girl ever. If she needs a refill for her sippy she will bring it to me and wave it in the air and say "ba." If she's hungry she goes to the kitchen stands up using the baby gate and yells at me or her dad until we go and make her something. I enjoy when her dad calls her before bed. She knows when the phone rings she comes crawling to me saying "dada" Ill put him on speaker and hand her the phone. she'll sit and have a conversation with him. She will unlock my phone to see his picture and kiss him. After he hangs up she hands me my phone and goes back to playing before bed. @belle6414
