I have a question for any mommies that use avent baby bottles once you started putting cereal in your baby's bottle what size nipple did you use? I'm currently using a size 2 but I feel like my son is trying to pull too hard on the nipple to get milk out.
My baby is still on the size bottles that you get in hospital because the tete on the tommee tippee bottles (and any other bottle) is too big for her... but i think I need to get her on the normal bottles now but is she still to small? She’s just over 6 pounds 🤔... Or what is everyone else using to bottle feed baby at about that weight ?
I need help!! my son has acid reflex and his doctor told me to put rice cereal in his bottle to make it thicker and he put him on zantac. What bottles did you use cuz I use doctor brown now and I went up to a size 3 nipple and it doesn't come out.
Level 2 or level 3 nipples for 1 tablespoon of oatmeal cereal in bottle? No hate please. It was ped recommended for severe reflux. And I use dr browns nipples
I got a question ladies.. So I have a few Dr. Brown bottles that are 6 months + and it transition into a sippy when ready.. My son is still using size 1 nipple size 2 he drinks it to fast and pukes all his milk back up. But the 6+ bottles are a size 3 nipple I wanted to try it when he hits 6 months on the 4th what if hes not ready?? I dont wanna keep him in a size 1 nipple because I want him to get used to a faster flow eventually so I can move him to the sippy when its time.
NIPPLES! For those that use bottles, are you still using the newborn or 0 months flow nipple? Have you switched to the next size?

You can, won't hurt anything. We started her at 4 months just because the peditrician said he thought she was ready for solids. Just get a small little shallow bowl and put a tablespoon of cereal and then like 3 tablespoons of formula or breastmilk which ever you do. just make sure it's thin since he's just starting. add more milk if you need to amd then see if he likes it.

After Kenna wouldn't take it out of a bottle i went to spoon feeding which worked good for her. was a bit messy but worked then she stopped eating it so then we tried with fruit mixed which worked for 2 days then she refused so we don't do cereal anymore @alec_mommy0816

I just pushed a toothpick threw one of the size 2 his feeding is coming up so let's see how that worked I'll keep you posted @mckennasmommy

I'm a lil upset because I just threw away his size 1 nipples and put the 2 thinking it was going to work now I have to ruin them @mckennasmommy

@alec_mommy0816 We also had to just cut the nipples...but it didn't last for us because she hates cereal.

I ended up cutting the nipples. I tried different sizes but the difference is more tiny holes, so the cereal gets clogged.
