Okay.. any other moms struggle with the "cry it out" method?
I know when something is wrong and I don't neglect her needs... but even when I know she is just crying because she is fighting sleeps, it's hard for me to just let her cry...
@angeryzebra22, aww I bet she will! I say go for it! They make really cute ones on amazon that have patch work. They are to die for
@jessyleigh, yup! I almost got one a month or so ago, but I talked myself out of it for whatever reason.. but she has a lil teething stuffed monkey that I keep with her in her car seat and she loves him up! So I think the "stuff binky" if you will she will love too! Lol
@jessyleigh, I think I might cave in and get one of those binkys with the stuffed animal attached. I think she will really like that, plus can't lose those as easily! I have lost so many damn binkys! Plus she is picky! She only likes the ones that the hospitals give you, which conveniently is the ones that the lil stuffed animal goes on!
Ha true it's still our best friend at night and like three random binky in the crib. He is bound to fine one Kk
@angeryzebra22, my son did that binky thing. lol I finally got the nookum and got s glow in the dark binky so he could find it himself 🙄 lol lazy Mom but it worked lmao
@jessyleigh, yea! I definitely never pick her up unless I know something is wrong! But I definitely agree that my daughter is doing the same thing as you just described. She is just looking for reinsurance that she's not alone. She will fall asleep. Realize she fell asleep and will cry until I put the binky in her mouth. Will fall back to sleep almost instantly and will drop the binky at the same time too.
I definitely appreciate your input! Thank you! 😉
@cassielee, it's so hard. I can't help but think that she is thinking I don't care! Haha.
At five months she still little insecure. We would go in and tap our nieces belly or rub her back and leave. They never picked her up just let her know they are still there. Or would sit in the room and sing the same song every night. Just so she knew they are there. Try that and they slowly started to lesson the times they went into the room if she cried and waited little longer. No longer than 7-10 mins of crying and they crying got shorter and shorter and by one she was sleeping on her own. She would go to her bedroom with her blanket when it was 7:30 every night and they would put her in bed and tuck her in and before they even got out of the bedroom she was passed out

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
Good'Morning Ladies! Has anyones baby just being very fussy and you don't even know what it could be anymore sense i try everything already & this past days she is just very fussy!!😞😖😖😩 I use to just leave her in her swing she will be happy & fall to sleep now i use her Bouncy,Swing & Nothing she will be there for a bit then start crying she has been crying a lot lately and don't know what it could be anymore i try to give a warm bath & nothing either just don't know anymore💁😨😟
So I'm having some late pregnancy worries... What if cant comfort her? What if I don't know why shes crying? Like say we're out and shes screaming and I just don't know what she wants!! That thought scares the shit out of me!
Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
@jessyleigh, I'll definitely look into it! Thanks for the heads up!
