It's not time for us to start potty training, but how do you start with boys? Do you automatically teach them to stand or sit down first? I thought with my brother we taught him to sit, then stand when he got the hang of it. My nephew just started potty training at 2 and they started him standing up and he pees all over the toilet. It's kinda gross lol

coming from a mom who potty trained 3 boys back to back SIT HIM DOWN AT FIRST I've done the standing up and pee is literally EVERYWHERE when they are about 4 or so daddy teaches them how to stand and "control the beast" lol I had my 2 oldest completely potty trained by 2 and my youngest son by 3

This might sound mean but, I don't think I'll ever let my son stand to pee😂😂😂😂😂 I have to deal with my husband missing the toilet, I don't want that extra nonsense 😂
@rmreed, that's what I thought! My sister let him start standing up and he gets pee everywhere and she thinks it's funny 🙄
Definitely start sitting down!! Once he gets the hang of that put cheerios in the toilet so he can aim at that 😂
Any moms of toddler boys who can give me tips on potty training. My 3 year old starts school in september but he has to be potty trained and he wont sit on the potty at all. Everytime i sit him on it he starts crying and gets up.....

his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
