Ugh so I was counting down the days until my hubby gets back (18 days) he gets to his first day of class which ends Friday the 10th and he was planning to leave after class as over which means we will have that weknd together. Now he finds out he still has to do his testing and the DMVS only let's like 3 do it a day so now he is going to be stuck down there an extra 3-5 days 😢 ugh I can't handle this right now...I'm going back to bed...

@jdamommy3 He's getting his CDL. He had to drive 5 hrs away to do his classes and test then is going to come back for the job

@lillyb, does he have to go out with a trainer? That's how most trucking companies work

@jdamommy3 Well right now he is going thru his classes to get his CDL. They run until the 10th then he takes his drivers test to get his license. After that he will come back home and then will drive about an hr away to do his mentoring with another driver for about a week or so it depends cuz it has to be so many hrs so if they do a few over nights or go it for a few days he will be done quicker. Then he will start driving on his own.

@lillyb, gotcha. Mine was out 6 weeks his first time. But that was 13 years ago.

@jdamommy3 yuck im glad he won't be out that long. It's already hard with him not being here. It's always been hard being away from him but now that I'm pregnant it makes it even harder lol I've never been away from him this long before in our 7 years together

That would be hard. I keep telling myself to be strong that it'll be worth it in the end for him to have a better paying job and that it'll be over and in the past soon enough but it gets hard at times. I'm trying to keep myself busy or to go out so it keeps my mind off of it buts it's hard when work has me stuck on short shitty evening shifts which when he gets off training.
