Okay so I need opinions/advice. I got a promotion at my job right before I left for maternity leave. It's better pay but way more hours! I could be working at least 10-12 hours a day 5 days a week then working every other Saturday for 6 hours. Plus I live 35 minutes away and my babysitter is another 15 minutes further. Now this isn't my dream job. Not even something I ever pictured myself doing. I have an opportunity to waitress 3 days a week 8-12 hours a day making minimum wage plus tips. I could be home with my daughter more and make life easier when I go back to school. I just don't know if I should leave my steady job with benefits.. plus I'll be working with my boyfriends other baby momma...

waitress til you decide on something more permanent. more time with baby is better than money , IMO

I agree @nowmrspost, I just didn't know if I was being stupid for giving up that job. My little girl is most important to me. That job isn't something I've ever considered permanent anyway. Just a good experience

benefits are great, but that's a lot of time away from baby and the expense of babysitter. I work for myself part time and when I go back to work in April, I'll be working even less, only 3 days a week
