you can choose if you want to have a membrane sweep or not. At 38+5d I had one done and two days later I had my son at 39 weeks exactly haha, but I was also a serious Park Walker and bounce on a birthing ball quite a bit the last 2 months, and had sex twice in one day I believe the day before I gave birth, which was literally the only time I did have sex the entire pregnancy besides one other time like three months in LOL
