What's everyone's opinion about drinking red wine while pregnant?? My boy friend keeps saying it'll be okay and not hurt me if I have a glass like once a month.???? Idk I'm iffy about it.

I wouldn't personally chance it because it does pass through. but I did have a sip of champagne for new years when I was preggo lol

Some doctors say it's ok in the last trimester, others say it's not safe at all. It's really a personal thing. I do not drink during pregnancy but I know many women who have a small glass of red wine 1-2 a week during the last trimester and they were fine. So 🤷🏽♀️

I haven done it even this pregnancy because I'm just scared of what would happen lol

Doctors say its ok to have a glass of red wine once in a while. Me personally I took a sips of wine once my entire pregnancy and after that I never drank again until my daughter was 4 months.

@gracececconi yup all about personal choice... my dr says once in a while the third trimester actually helps with blood flow and can help prevent pre-eclampsia. I personally havent YET but i may have a glass once or twice this next 10 weeks on depends on how i feel
