My poor baby must of had a terrible nightmare because he woke screaming and crying. Tried calming him down and he started screaming even louder. He started hyperventilating too 😩 He was crying as if something was behind me when I was trying to get him to fully wake up. He eventually stopped as I turned on the lamp and had to walk around with him. Has this happened to anyone else child? Hes 1 year & 2 months. This never has happened before. Even my 7 year old nephew was trying to calm him. I almost ran him upstairs to my mom I started freaking out.

This happened to my son who was almost 3 at the time. Very similar to how he acted. Once I turned the lights on and walked around with him it seemed to soothe him.
I researched some online( bc we know everything online is fact) lol. Thinking maybe it was a night terror.
We had kept him up later than normal that evening at a cams eve party and he did indulge in more sweets than I would've liked.
So either over tired, not the best nutrition that evening, over stimulation or bad dream?!?!
It hasn't happened again but boy we're we terrified!
Has it happened again?

@lamandab it did happen again after an hour or so. I stayed up all night trying to figure it out. Gave him gas drops and he was perfectly fine after. We were having my brothers birthday party last night and he did eat alot. I heard his belly bubbling all night.
