I don't think anyone needs to disclose their reasons behind having an abortion (whether it's rape, birth control failing or no birth control was used at all) but I do believe women should have access to safe abortions. My personal belief is for early abortions to be done in a quick and timely manor but just because I don't believe in 12+ week ones myself doesn't mean I don't believe they should be banned. If anything it's kind of "better" (using that term lightly) for future generations because this means there's less unwanted/unplanned children out there that the parents couldn't prepare and raise emotionally, physically, mentally or financially. I feel like losing access to safe abortions would be a bad influence on future generations.

Abortion isn't black & white. There are so many shades of grey. Even though I know I would never have an abortion, who am I to judge and tell someone else what to do with their body? I don't know their life, so I'm just going to mind my own business. I feel like that girl has no idea what she's really talking about.

I think.it depends on the situation definitely. however, if you can lay down and have unsafe sex you know the chance and should woman/man up and take responsibility for the life you created. just because the baby isn't big yet and etc. doesn't mean it's not a human. to just get an abortion because you don't want to deal with a baby or other selfish reasons is wrong to me... there is a fine line on the influence on future generations but on one hand it in a way teaches young people that it's okay if it happens you can just get it taken care of it.

@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom i totally agree. I dont believe in it 12+ either. This girl is just saying it should be illegal regardless. I do believe women should have a choice to do what they think is best. My opinion was just about the rape. And one of the moms is right. If you can lay down without protection you should step up and take care of it.

Sometimes, the definition of "take care of it" is to abort. I am supportive of all of those who make the hard choice to go through with it. I've even taken a friend to a place to have one done wayyyyyyy past the time I would have done it. I believe women need support because it's not like it's a decision made lightly or one with callous intent. The point is not to "kill" just to "kill", but for some women it is the better alternative. Like I said, women shouldn't have to explain to others why she considers or goes through with an abortion but I know some of those reasons have to do with mental health and "stepping up" and going through with a pregnancy could mean the mom takes her life or takes the child's life. People snap. I'd rather support women who know they can't raise a child and stand along with them rather than alienate them and make them feel like shit for their decision.
