Aw I'm sorry to hear that, I can't even imagine how difficult that must be. I wouldn't want to leave my daughter to go back to work :( I hope it works out in your favor! @klutzy,

My HR is trying to get me to go back Monday. My daughter will be 7 weeks. I have to go back by Feb 1 or I lose my benefits unless i provide a medical excuse. Currently waiting for my MD to provide a letter. Even then it will be unpaid but I'm definitely not ready to go back.

Mine is unpaid as well! I think that's exactly what I will have to do, use up my sick time. I don't even get paid vacation/holidays so I can't use that :(

My leave is unpaid. Using my vacation time, sick time, and a week of my Christmas bonus. Then I have to pay back the vacation I use at the end of the year. THEN I have enough money for 6.9 weeks so I have to stretch it if I want the whole 12. Girl no one wants to help the pregnant people

I have to have at least $300 in wages subject to the state disability insurance during the 12month period of my claim. I unfortunately have around $150 in those wages :(
